What kind of resource are you looking for?

What is SRCC?

SRCC stands for the Stanford Research Computing Center, and our aim is to empower Stanford faculty, staff, students, and other kinds of researchers to conduct the research that is essential for scientific discovery. Toward this goal, we offer many services and resources for the Stanford community.

Why the SRCC Resource Explorer?

If you are new to Stanford, or simply unfamiliar with the resources that we offer, it can be challenging to know where to start. You might know that several compute clusters exists, for example, but you wouldn't know which ones are optimal for your use case. For this reason, we provide this resource explorer. Using it, you can select:

  1. Type: Are you looking for compute? Storage? Something in the cloud?
  2. Domain: Do you want to filter down to resources only available for specific domains?
  3. Audience: the intended audience that you need (e.g., staff, students, faculty)
  4. Storage Size: Do you need Megabytes, or Terabytes?
  5. Backup/Snapshots: Do you need either backups or snapshots?
Once you have made one or more selections, the options on the right side of the page will filter down. You can click on any option to be taken to the documentation base for each, or contact us directly to ask a question.

Can I use this for my institution?

Of course! The code is all on GitHub. Have fun!
