Goodbye Fish

To be cut twice,
in the same way again.
Not just in physical
but emotional whim
An unexpected pain
A mistaken of kin

Empty and nauseous
Restless in tears
Shaken, sickening
Unrelenting fears
A heart so lost,
A $PATHless bin

A naive at best wish
For love of a Fish
Oceans so deep,
beautiful sleep;
dreams, hope, trust
gone textual dust

Lord give me new strength
To live this again.
